Avrupa Ahşap Politika Forumu Toplantısı-3/4 Ekim 2023 Helsinki

Ahşap veya bildiğimiz-kullandığımız haliyle odun tüm dünya için önemli ama Avrupa için daha da önemli. Veya ülkemizde olmadığı kadar politikanın, sanayinin ve bilim adamlarının gündeminde.

Günümüzde AB’ nin temel kalkınma planı olan “Green Deal” in ana unsurlarından birisi ormanlar ve dolayısı ile ahşap/odun.

Bunun yansıması olarak bir çok proje hayata geçiriliyor.

2022 yılında Almanya’ nın önerisi üzerine Finlandiya v Avusturyanın ilgili bakanlarının girişimi ile “Avrupa Ahşap/Odun Politika Forumu-European Wood Policy Platform (woodPoP) kurulmuş ve 1 Aralık 2022 tarihinde Avusturya’da ilk toplantısını yapmıştı.

woodPoP’ un ikinci üst düzey toplantısı 3-4 Ekim 2023 tarihlerinde Finladinya’ nın Helsinki şehrinde yapıldı.

Ben buraya online olarak iştirak ederek, 4 Ekim 2023, bir konuşma yaptım.

Dear Experts and Colleagues,

The European Wood Policy Platform (woodPoP) is reaching an important stage. Following the 1st High Level Meeting (HLM) in Innsbruck, Austria, in December last year and a successful first full yearly cycle of meetings, we are happy to invite you to the 2nd
High Level Meeting (HLM) to take place in Helsinki, Finland, on 3rd and 4th October 2023.

The 2nd woodPoP High Level Meeting (HLM) will provide a forum to formalize the operating structure as a basis for long-term collaboration, as well as provide updates from recent Expert and Technical Working Group meetings.

During the item Exchange of views, building on existing wood policy programmes and initiatives, we hope to gather the views of participants on the topical focus areas of the initiative.
As national representative, you are cordially invited to take the floor for an
intervention (2-3 minutes) providing a short overview on national wood policy programmes or supporting initiatives and highlighting the topical focus areas within the platform.
We would then like to invite international and European stakeholder organisations representatives to make a short statement (2-3 minutes) highlighting their thematic priorities within the woodPoP initiative for the coming years.

In view of the agenda point Endorsement of the woodPoP Guidelines, please find attached the consolidated version which has been discussed and agreed in written procedure through the Expert Group.

Attached please find the invitation including the program and as well as some practical information for your convenience.

We would kindly ask you to register your participation in the link provided in the attached invitation. The closing date for the registration is 19th of September.
